Gibraltar Mailguard Hosted
With this mode of operation, Gibraltar Mailguard is operated in our failover and best-secured data center. You do not need any special hardware and no own Internet bandwith for Spam emails. Only "good" emails are delivered to your actual mailserver.

Gibraltar Mailguard Appliance
With this mode of operation, Gibraltar Mailguard is operated on a special hardware appliance in your data center. An appropriate hardware will be provided by Gibraltar and is already included in license fee. In contrast to Gibraltar Mailguard Hosted you will need your own Internet bandwith, because all emails are delivered to Gibraltar Mailguard into your company. Subsequently, all emails classified as "good" are being delivered to your actual mailserver. In case of an hardware defect, your Gibraltar Mailguard hardware appliance will be replaced within 8 working hours. Maintainance and service of Gibraltar Mailguard is done remotly.

Gibraltar Mailguard Virtual
With this mode of operation, Gibraltar Mailguard is operated in an existing virtual hardware environment (VMWare) in your data center. We recommend this mode of operation if you are already running a virtual server cluster. No dedicated hardware is necessary. For the rest, this mode is identically with Gibraltar Mailguard Appliance.
