Accessorily to the software version Gibraltar is available preinstalled on high-performant security appliances. These appliances were especially developed being operated as a Firewall. All Gibraltar hardware appliances are high quality products and they are equipped with a minimum warranty of one year. If you obtain Gibraltar Gold support, warranty will be even extended to three years.

At the moment, 5 different Gibraltar Security Gateways are available. There is an optimal appliance for each application and for each size of the network.

Gibraltar will be preinstalled on all hardware appliances using compact flash cards. The integrated hard disk is used to support the built-in Gibraltar application level proxies. The licensing of the Gibraltar Security Gateways is indepentent from the size of the protected network and also independent of the number of users. Depending on the area of application, a firewall throughput up to 2000 MBit/sec is possible.
